Substitute Teacher Accused Of Soliciting Minor For Sex
Man Sent Numerous Text Messages To 15-Year-Old Girl

FAIRFAX, Va. -- A substitute teacher has been accused of soliciting a minor for sex via cell phone text messages.
Lucas Beal, 27, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with custodial indecent liberties with a minor and use of a communications device to solicit a minor for sex, Fairfax County police said.
A 15-year-old girl said Beal asked for her cell phone number and sent her numerous text messages during the next few days, police said. She told her mother, who contacted the school resource officer.
On Wednesday, Beal asked the girl for sex and agreed to meet her at 10:15 p.m. in the 8200 block of Roseland Drive in the Fairfax Station area, police said. When he arrived detectives arrested him.
Beal worked as substitute teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools.
